Back by
popular demand from 2005, we are unveiling our
Peach
Wine again. Produced directly from fresh
peaches, this will be a great relaxing dessert style
wine. To start the evening off right, our Cellar
Club Members will be able to Select
Their
Favorite Bottle of Wine for us to uncork and
enjoy.
Uwharrie Vineyards ~ Chef's Dinner Evening
Our
Award Winning Chefs - Chad Nichles and Greg Wren
both will be preparing the special meal for that
evening that
will
begin with a full Harvest Salad, blended with
herbs,
cherry
tomatoes, seared oranges, red peppers,
red
onions, roasted walnuts, and feta cheese.
The
chef's main entrée will be a Rosemary-Garlic
Studded New York Strip, marinated and slightly
grilled
for it's
essence. It will be accompanied with Roasted
Vegetables of zucchini, yellow squash, and red
onions.
An
Herbed Crusted Mashed Sweet Potato will
accompany the dish along with fresh bread and
butter.
After
the first part of the dinner has been completed and
our live
music artist has started performing, we'll walk
around and hand pour a full glass of our new
Peach Wine.
We have
decided what better way to showcase this new
wine
other than serving a Fresh Peach Cobbler with
a crusty
top, whipped cream, and light cinnamon.
